So I'm really liking the whole time travel aspect, the time and place of the story, etc. but I'm not sure how much I like the FMC's internal *and* spoken dialogue. It's not necessarily that it's modern (because obviously, it would be... or at least, her INTERNAL dialogue would be), but more like it's very cliché-y? Trying too hard? Idk.
