The more I read unfortunately the less I’m digging it. Kinda gross misogyny and I know it’s from a “bad guy” but still just nasty and I’m not here for it. The beginning was amazing and the characters incredible. This one character tho is really just killing the whole thing for me. Also frequently seen tropes for characters on the spectrum

Great book, absolutely loving it so far. It pulls you in wicked fast and then you’re just along for the ride. I enjoy the way the narrating slowly releases more and more info and lore. It feels like it’s at the perfect speed. Can defo see why it was a Bram Stoker Award finalist!! Maybe I’ve gotta read more Bram Stoker Award books bc this is banging
