I think this is incredibly good. It gives me similar vibes to The Things They Carried--maybe because Bothe explore being far from home and witnessing or aiding the suffering of the locals. I really appreciate the reassurance that nature is also wilderness. I often forget that the universe can be malevolent and inexplicable, as well as transcending. I think this book will be deeply introspective. I'll keep in touch :)
