"Smallest violin for the fucking cyberkids who all of a sudden aren't getting paid money to fucking have sushi parties" Jaime Levy it should not have taken a terrorist attack to make you realize that those are not real problems.

How does one become such an obvious sell out poser without realizing they're a sell out poser. Forgive the insufferably Gen X way of phrasing that. I've read Jaime Levy comparing herself to Kurt Cobain too many times and now I'm trapped in the 90s. (I love this book; I only dislike Jaime Levy.)

"It's not clear that the hackers, misfits, and 'magnificent men' about which Stewart Brand wrote so enthusiastically would have come up with, or actively maintained, anything quite like the Social Services Referral Directory, which was unglamorous, drudgery - intensive community service." Daaaaaaamn.
