I am very curious as to what is really going on with Marie right now. From when Maire wakes up to the moment she goes to sleep, Wes and the others continue to come and talk to her. Gail keeps telling Wes to give Marie a break. I agree with Gail, Maire needs space right now and I believe she needs to be left alone. I question if David's parents will tell him the truth about Uncle Frank or will they keep it a secret.

I am completely shocked at Frank's suicide. I was confused on Davids reaction when talking about when he said he was very close to love when seeing uncle frank die and how he said he wishes everyone has an uncle like him. I felt like the story was rushed at the end and i wish there was a more detailed ending to the story.

I was completely shocked that Wes arrested Frank. I remember earlier on in the book Wes didn't even think to bat an eye at Frank after he told Wes that it wouldn't happen again. I do understand why Wes had to do it knowing his job is based all around justice. I still am in complete shock Wes ended up arresting his brother. I am very proud of Wes for having the courage to put his brother in jail.

I really noticed things getting heated during Wes and Julians argument. I saw how the author was hinting to us on how Julian favors Frank over Wes. It must really hurt Wes after Julian said he doubts and has not a lot of faith in Wes during this investigation. Wes finally snapped and told Julian about Uncle Frank. I predict that Julian won't believe Wes and Uncle frank will somehow convince Julian its a lie.

I strongly believe that Frank killed Maire. It was a complete shock to me but I think it was Frank due to him wanting to hide the truth on what he was doing to Marie and other woman. He was very calm when finding out Marie was killed which was why I started thinking it was him. I wonder if Wes will pick up on this and notice Franks odd behavior.

These past few pages have really got me excited and ready to read more about on what Wes is going to choose, Justice towards his brother or loyalty towards his family. I believe he will end up trusting and choosing loyalty towards his family even though Uncle Frank is his brother and someone he has been with his entire life. I think the author is going to somehow turn this entire thing on Wes and make it his fault.

I was very engaged on Ollie Young Bear. He is a character who has stood out to me after hearing all about his amazing past. I am wondering though on why his father is meeting up with Ollie at the Coffee cup diner? Is there something going on that Ollie needs to know about or is there something that Ollie knows about Uncle Frank that others don't know?

I was extremely shocked to find out Uncle Frank was a rapist. I was and still am questioning how Uncle Frank was constantly at places with Indians and was never accused of rape. I was able to put some pieces together after realizing how Marie acts around him. I was so confused on why the father continued to cover his brother as an innocent man even when he knew that he was a rapist.

I was very surprised at how men are in Montana. I would want to be relaxed after coming back from battle but they went straight back to work in the fields in awful and poor conditions. I was also very confused on why Marie doesn’t want to seek any help from the doctors even though she is sick. I would personally go and seek help if I was struggling with a sickness. Why does marie not want help from the doctors?
