Michael Schramm I need to dive back into this one. I got sidetracked with a couple other titles after the material on Daniel Boone and the Cumberland Gap and the 7 Years War bogged things down as bit for me. This is a hefty book for certain—and a bit dry.


Chris I agree with your evaluation of the book, Michael. I made it through Daniel Boone and am well into the first chapters on Davy Crockett. He and Old Hickory liven things up, for sure.
