I loved this quick, but wonderful read! It's very different from the movie of the same name, because this is the original story which evolved and over the course of 15 years. This story is essentially a retelling of beauty and the beast, but with Miyazaki's magic. You can, however, see some of the seeds that blossomed into film we know. The sketching's alone make this a worthwhile read!
