It took me roughly 10-15 pages before acquiring the taste for Krasznahorkai's style; at first I was hyped up from the notability of his Nobel-prize win this year, and before the ~15-page mark I thought some back-room gimmicks and shenanigans were in place allowing this to reach such status, then it began to click.It's been an immense and immersive joy to experience ever since, I'd personally have put it in a 5-part layout where for me parts 2, 3, 4 would have been the best of the book thus far; but there's a reason for the layout and title, that being the adage of 'a dance with the devil', so far metaphorically speaking.
It's heavily surrounding the communist-bloc, the way of life at the time, the greed, the dishonesty, etc.
A damn decent read, that hints at Gogol's Dead Souls in its style.
sounds promising. patience i have, so not worried about that heh.
