Hi RoXXie, This book has certainly got mixed reviews. I am sorry that you didn't enjoy it. My fear is that I have to invest a ton of time (1200 pages) to find out the same thing. 😢

I invested over 36hrs of my life for the audiobook. At some point I was just too stubborn to stop listening, But a print copy, I would have just DNFd. 😂

I cannot wait for your review, I read Manacled but not this version so I am curious to see more reviews about this book that is full of controversy

I don't mind a long audiobook if it's full of suspense and great story telling, as well as detailed characters with depth.

I would gather that this book in particular was lacking in some of those things😢
