It was disappointing to me, a bit unstructured. I think their chemistry changes a bit around 60% and ends up all being very conventional, if that was a concern. But I think I actually liked the beginning better!

The plot and characters hinted for the next book are fascinating to me though.

Limerence was a shitshow for me so I wasn't even going to bother with this one

thank youu, i have read something before that DNFing books is self-care too. no nee to subject ourselves in something we don't enjoyy

i was like, where is the romance?? cause i can't feel it with the characters. their relationship was pretty casual to me.

i actually liked Limerence so I gave this book a chance, Oleander wasn't for me either. i guess, it's either hit or miss with Scarlett Drake
