not just the recent one, most of them cast white actors to play him. iirc there was one where they cast a black guy and then he got harassed out of acting because of it 💀

The maid literally says he's black at one point. I don't think he actually is black, I think they're using it to mean anyone not white and not obviously Asian, but they're extremely clear that he's POC
