Ive heard this is when WoT starts to slow down and I can see the beginnings of that here. But I have hope. But with the amount of plotlines popping up… It should be interesting to see how they all get tied up.

Well Sammael’s end was… anticlimactic to say the least. This was a good book. Glacial at times in its plotting but the scenes were by no means boring. And while the end was a bit too easily tied up for my liking, it left some plot threads that will need dealing with. The Forsaken may be taking a backseat in the face of Seanchan invasion. They’ve already taken two cities, who knows how many more will fall?

Ah so Moridin saved Rand. And their balefires crossed. And… something happened. I guess we’ll figure out who he is later. Favored by the Dark One, that much is clear.

Well the Seanchan invasion has begun. First Amadicia, now Ebou Dar. Fuckin fuck. As if the Dark One, the Forsaken, and the army of Darkfriends wasn’t bad enough for the world.

So I guess that was the gholam Sammael released. The being the Power cant touch. Thankfully, Mat’s foxhead medallion came in handy.

Jesus christ can Rand ever catch a break? It is interesting that Ishamael’s wound and Mordeth’s wounds are… counteracting one another. I know that’s important somehow. But I suppose we shall see.

Oh my fucking god, I guess Rand’s getting another unhealable wound.

Oh my god Rand is in the same camp as fucking Padan Fain. This is not good. Seeing Caraline, who looks like Moiraine, makes me sad. I miss her.

Well the Sea Folk gave in pretty quickly. Rand’s going to have to deal with those Seanchan sooner than he thinks. That’ll be fun.

Wow Elaida is in full meltdown mode AND being blackmailed by the Black Ajah. Yeah, the Tower Aes Sedai are fucked.
