Most of these stories feel like a waste of time to read and then a few are super original and interesting.

Second two stories were more interesting :
People being shrunk down to live within a sentient crocodile
A world where straight lines beckon demons

The first story, The Sorcerer’s Apprentice, was touted by the editor to be “nothing familiar” and yet it’s just another story about a man lusting after a woman who doesn’t want him back and, for some reason we are kept in the dark about, the woman sleeps with him in the end. This is really the story to start out an anthology of supposed “extreme visions of fantasy”?
