The book is nice and enjoyable, though it's quite clearly written to portray anyone involved as statesmen and people that could act, and actually did despite the enormous pressure put on them by the Soviet Union under the leadership of Kruschnev and the fear of the domino-theory to be put into practice, hadn't they reacted strongly enough to the advancements made in Cuba.
