I waited 5 books for that revenge… I believe everyone who read assassin’s blade was waiting for that and that was the MOST underwhelming emotionless payoff imaginable. I genuinely did not believe this was it, I was waiting for a misdirect or something 💀 what even was that 💀 a wattpad writer could’ve delivered a more satisfying revenge arc
