I LOVED the first book, i loved the 7 deadly sins as the characters and i think it had so much potential for complexity especially weaving in religious themes and history. But the second book just feels watered down, and like it’s written for marketability, not immersion in the world of the book. The language feels too simple, like you can scroll socials while you read simple. I don’t think I can finish.
