Progress has been made. I love how gentle Wen Shi is when it comes to dealing with the ghosts that were put wrongfully into cages like Shen Manyi.

I can’t believe how they just got 4 roommates instead of just one.The next chapter is about a dream of the past. Will all the flashbacks all come as dreams?
Also, I’m fully immersed in the story now.

I’ve got some thoughts about it now that I know two people can share a cage. My guess is that our MC and ML both have a cage that has to be solved and that those overlap as well. Wen Shi is definitely an unreliable narrator. Not sure yet about Xie Wen. Everything seems possible.
