I feel the need to specify that i am a white woman, and this heavily can affect the way i reflect and react to this book.
But this book makes me uncomfortable, and makes me sad right off the bat knowning the experience “Robin” has is not one never known by anyone. Its colonialism at its peak. We, white people, did this.
We took children from their homes, under the pretext of giving them better lives

Guess;
The twin/doppelgänger had to be whom the other guy was referring to when they said Robin was a copy of “the other one”
