The first story didn't work for me for many reasons but mostly because it was instalove. I always have a hard time with love within days of meeting.
I skipped over to Cheryl St. John's story as she's a favorite and, as usual, her prose pulled me right in. This is an unusual "stranded" story on a train. You can't help but be captivated by their circumstances.

Enjoyed the Cheryl St. John story because it was creative and very different from anything I've read before. The end was sewn up a little two quickly in the final words of the chapter, so I would have enjoyed an epilogue with insight into their life as a couple to extend it a bit more.
Now I'm going backwards to read Carol Finch's story, a new-to-me author.

For the TBR challenge this month -- a book I bought years ago because the cover pulled me in. I enjoy Jillian Hart and Cheryl St. John's books so the only new-to-me author will be Carol Finch.
The first story by Jillian Hart is sweet so far. It's about two adults and a child who have all lost someone dear to them. I love healing stories. This one has a twist because the hero has served time.
