Ok… a few early thoughts…
1) So the good guys we’re supposed to be sympathizing with are a theocratic monarchy?? Lol. It’s hard to root for either side in a choice between religious fanatics supporting an inherited monarchy or democratically elected evil necromancers.
2) I kinda feel like a 1000+ page novel is the sign of an undisciplined writer…
