A really good book from the viewpoint and stories of people that were there. Lots of interesting facts. A bit patriotic and I dealt uncomfortable while we watch the news of nightly bombings of terror against Ukraine and Gaza. This tactic should have died with the end of WWII. Regardless of what justifications, the sites of burning and destroyed cities should haunt us. Yet we as humans continue to repeat it...
