Chapter 88! This marks how far I got when reading the fan translation. Then life happened and I dropped this novel. So from here on, all I know are vague spoilers. But the re-read part is over. (Oh and Lanzhou calling Ce’an “Er-lang” is just the sweetest thing)

Can I take a second to just point out how Ce’an goes full caring husband mode now that they are finally a couple? Checking up on Lanzhou, making sure he is eating regularly, showing up with food? Hello? How much of a green flag can this big manly warrior be?

I swear the fact that these two are able to have complex political discussion during foreplay just shows that this was written by a woman. I’m not complaining, I just find it kinda amusing :D
