The audiobook is not the way to go with this one. Been reading on my kindle for a bit, and Lynette’s tone as narrator is so much more tolerable. Thank god.

I’m surprised that this is my least favorite by Hendrix. The narrating character is seriously unlikeable and I haven’t felt a moment where the plot hits. Hoping there’s a pivot that turns me around. Compared to all others I’ve read by this author, this is my least favorite and not one I care to finish tbh.
