23% in. Not sure if I want to continue. The writing style is not my favorite. It’s so spare that I catch myself re-reading to catch on. And every single time the MC steps out of her house to sneak around the town something dramatic happens. It’s one endless tale of misery, blood and beatings. It’s feeling like work. And I don’t want my reading to feel like a slog, so goodbyyyyye!
