Starts of very interesting. Introduction of the book was saying that this contains philosophy elements. Then talks about how we developed from single celled organisms and proposes theories of how we went from multi celled and beyond. Talks about neurons and how they form the brain and why the brain is what it is.

But even a bacteria does this, by filtering out chemicals depending on the environment. It distinguishes animals having a loop that will continuously sense and action.
