I have to throw in the towel on this one. The regurgitated Wikipedia pages on various Jewish practices and on the history of abortion that are plopped into the narrative are tiring. The irrelevance of the character we were led to believe would be the protagonist is befuddling. The virtue daughters as chorus players who speak one sentence into the abyss of the tired trope of an Irving narrative is boring.
