Had the prequel A Day of Fallen Night ordered in for me at a local bookstore, I know I'm barely through this one but its very good so far I just had to. Plus the cover art is gorgeous.

This is good writing so far, I like how its a bit slower paced, I feel more immersed in it.

I did not pick on the fact that a particular character was actually in the first chapter the whole time, he even said his name, I was thinking this was some great mystery of where he was.
