What do you think? I thought I was going to love this book but the beginning was so sad I quit. 🫣

But you are right, they had a lot of hardship, much of which was left out of the Little House books. You may note by looking at my history with this book, i started it in January and I've procrastinated reading it seceral times. But overall, im glad i persevered. Its also fun to hear all the references to local areas.
