Emily Hardy You too, I love seeing what you're reading. Do you have an all-time favorite anything you'd recommend?

Meredith Crawford This is for sure one of them! I adored this series!!

Meredith Crawford How about you? All-time favorites?

Meredith Crawford I really love A Visit to the Goon Squad (Jennifer Egan) and I love all of Tom Wolfe’s stuff. I’ll read anything by Anne Enright and Colm Toibin too—love a good Irish writer.

Meredith Crawford A Visit FROM the Goon Squad, I mean !

Meredith Crawford How to Survive a Plague by David France is hands-down the best non-fiction I’ve read. It was an amazing documentary first and then he made it a boon and somehow it even surpasses the doc. The level of research, the storytelling, and the pacing are incredible.

Meredith Crawford Five Days at Memorial, about the eponymous hospital during Katrina, is also a top contender. Ok, I’ll stop. This is clearly my favorite topic lol!

Meredith Crawford One last one: Invisible Child: Poverty, Survival and Hope in an American City is one of the most excellent books of recent years! Should be required reading!
