I don't remember many things since I first read it years ago, but even now I recall the main plot point. What I wasn't prepared for was the fact that the 'plot twist' is revealed fairly early, rather than at the end of the story. I notice the foreshadowing, but I'm not ready for all the feels. (I'm already in way too deep!)
