I know a lot of people who got a lot out of this book! And its end conclusion is fair/not too controversial of a take. BUT I also know a decent amount of criticism exists from the author’s lack of in depth research/accusations of him essentially writing a book of correlation hot takes. SO if you walk away feeling really upset about it, consider listening to the If Books Could Kill podcast episode on it that goes into some methodology criticism of the book for a second/more hopeful opinion haha
