Kevin Majestyck I really have to get into Landsdale. I read one of his “western weirds” in an anthology years ago and I love the movie Bubba Hotep. Cold in July was a decent movie too.

Clint Bungles Hes great. I think I already plugged The Thicket to you. Cold in July is a great read as well. This is my third Hap and Leonard book and they're all terrific. Not sure theres a writer out there as adept at mixing dark humour and absolute bursts of violence.

There's a book called The Best of Joe R. Lansdale that's a great reading a good starting point. It has Bubba Ho Tep as well as Incident On and Off a Mountain Road. Tons of great shorts.
