No. It was rated as one of the best novels of the 20th century by readers. I started it 20-25 years ago and couldn't get through a scene which was meant to be boring. I'm aware that a lot of right wing people like her I think that you know me well enough that I am not in danger of being swayed in that direction. Her writing needed editing but is actually pretty good.
