Violate, stiflingly, and blocked off. These all have negative connotations and make the reader feel uncomfortable, just like how the sister was feeling when she first walked into the prison.

The tone is emotional and sensitive because this is when the nun first writes and develops a bond with the death row inmate.

The main goal of the sister is to help as many people as she can who face inequality. The obstacles in her way are the systems set up in society that favor the well-off people in life and do little to nothing to help those who need it most.

I wanted to read this book because it seemed like an interesting topic to write a book about and it seems like it's going to hold my attention for the whole book.
