I didn't consciously avoid them, just that other books interest me more.. If they're danmei bestsellers, then I'm in... lol.
I have only read one, Wind and Truth and it was my least favorite of the series. We need to have our own danmei/manga/manhua awards lol

I have become so disillusioned with the GR awards anyway. I feel like its just become the latest thing Amazon does to drive sales towards the books that they have chosen cause lord knows some of the books I have read on there have been god awful
I only vote if I’ve read something and it’s been a legit 5⭐️ for me… but I did not read many on the last at all this year! Maybe only 4 titles and I’ve read over 170 books HAHA!

I also have the same feeling like you regarding their seasonal challenges.
