i don't get why ellis's mom is lecturing lucky on how ellis's autism makes him "different" right now... lucky has known ellis almost his entire life, for like 15 years, he knows how ellis is and all his little quirks. a 20 minute lecture from his mom felt unnecessary

this book has said "lucky came into my life when we were 10" like 900000000000000000 times so far. ok we get it stfu we know that because the book starts when you're 10, you don't need to proceed to hammer it into our heads a billion times every chapter

how on EARTH is this a romance between lucky and ellis?????????? so far ellis has refused to tell lucky how he feels, will barely even admit it to himself, and lucky has spent all this time fucking other people.

It's cute but so far I'm really bored
