I love using this as a personal journal, a workbook for self-reflection and self-improvement (ie I need to be and practice the values that I wish to see in a socially just world).

Started my annotation reread before I’ve even properly finished this, lol.

“[W]here we are going and who we need to be to get there are married. We can’t get to a new destination without shifting who and how we are.”

I feel like this would have worked even better if presented in a “scrapbook” format, with the associated differences in design for the different kinds of information that have been included.

I wish this were more concrete than simply reading like a haphazard collection of brown’s notes and thoughts.

I’m already imagining how I’m going to annotate this book once I’m home and have my hands on my supplies again, because I love this.

This may be a bit too woo-woo for most people but I’m enjoying the potential for new thought that I see here.
