I've only read the preface and I'm already intrigued - Oord utilizes 4 examples potent examples of evil: sexual abuse from a Christian authority figure, the suicide of a strong Christian, a Christian couple with multiple miscarriages, and the cancer and death of a Christian man whose family all prayed against the death. Writes the book surrounding these 4 examples-- I am interested and hopeful to see where it leads.

I haven’t quite decided! It’s not incredibly well written… I think a better editor could have communicated the point/perspective better, BUT I think it does offer a better explanation to the “problem of evil” than the views I have heard growing up
