Well, this got better.

This is a bit disappointing, TBH. Maybe I shouldn't expect too much from tie-in fiction, but people have repeatedly cited this as the best Farscape novel. However, it's just "fine." It feels like a run of the mill episode, and Liantac is just "casino planet," and little else. I think the characterization is spot on, especially for John, Aeryn, and Rygel, but nothing that breaks the mold.
