This is terrifying and depressing even as I hope with each round of investigation someone will reach past the selfishness of these companies and find some kind of humanity for the women who suffered under the "company men" who toed the line at the cost of so many lives. Infuriating and heartbreaking and entirely engrossing. I have to keep balancing reading this with other books of lighter story.

It is infuriating how much lying happened to leave so many women dead. Companies that knew and did nothing but hired more people who then worked a substance that killed them, all so profits could be made by men with more care for wealth than life. Fucking assholes.
