BagginsMyFrodo I agree. For those upset about the lack of diversity, look at your own shelf (pun intended). This should be an introspective speculation, not one aimed at the Goodreads Community at large.

Reading is about enjoying oneself, not ticking boxes.

I may want to read space operas written by the same author for an entire year. That’s my prerogative.

No one is going to dictate to me what I can or cannot be reading lol.
