Getting through this book at a glacial pace because the first half is written so dull. So much “telling” and exposition that it felt like reading a synopsis instead of a book. Now it’s picking up a little, after the piano scene, and I assume most of the next half is smut anyway.

This book feels so sloppy and rushed overall. Not a smooth ride. Awkward af banter and jokes. It feels like someone dropped the ball during editing. I can’t even say it has an ai feel because ai would probably come up with more meaningful sentences.

This Koen fellow is kinda cringe, ngl.
