so. there are two things that we find out in this specific chapter. when i read them (after i finished crying, gasping, and yelling), i put the book down and stared blankly around the room for no less than an hour. just thinking. processing. needing to soak the story into the folds of my brain. i can’t even pick the book back up yet. that is how hard it hit me.
