Barbara when I catch you … hate that bitch. Vanessa loves Joan so much I’m going to throw up. If this book ends badly I am going to sue for emotional damage. This better have a good ending or I am going to become absolutely insane. Miss Reid once again proves she is a QUEEN of beautiful prose and storytelling.

Oh my god these beautiful fucking lesbians are going to make me cry. Vanessa loves Joan so much I will explode. Ms Reid you are a gargantuan talent of a novelist holy hell this is well written. Absolutely do not want to even remotely think of the possibility of the last chunk of this book but fuck I guess I have to keep reading.

These past few chapters have been some of the most profound and lovely writing I’ve ever experienced. Reid really puts into words sapphic yearning and self discovery in such a vulnerable way. And Joan’s discussion of god and how we are all the universe and all each other … I’m at a loss for words. This book is making me crazy.
