I'm going to start Alchemised today. I did not read Manacled and I did not read the HP series (Ann Rice-vampire chronicles got me into reading fantasy not HP...Im old)
I'm a slow reader so I am giving myself two weeks. I am going in blind so it is not as intimidating as KOA (I knew that book was gonna hurt my feeling).
