Guys I’m so excited to be reading another Baldwin book! I read and ADORED Giovanni’s room earlier this year. Havent stopped thinking about it since. But I’ve learnt that baldwin’s books are next to impossible to come across, first AND second hand in this gd country. So I was very pleased to find this, and if Beale street could talk, at the bookstore. Of course I copped. But ???? This book was $32 and if Beale street could talk was $39???? These books better be worth my money. But it’s james Baldwin, so I’m sure they will be :D
