Given to me by my church as we have discussed the nature of what a deacon is and whether or not different leaders in our church would hold the title.
This book has given me a lot to think about. It’s definitely expanded my understanding of what a deacon in the church should look like/embody. There was a clear picture of Jesus in a man or woman who lovingly lives out the office of a servant in the church.
