Pris finds out her entire town was burned & everyone she knew killed by regner she didnt think to protect them & goes into a 2 day depression over it. Her brothers return with thol the only survivor was out hunting when their town was attacked. They make him take a blood oath and let Lorian in on the hourglass with a blood oath and discuss how its in underground water tunnels near gromalia & eprotha being moved soon

They head to an inn & prepare to meet the gromalian king (the one Lorian pretended to be last book in disguise @regners) cavis asinia Lorian her aunt & pris take a carriage up to the castle. The group finds rythos’s home town full of fae in true form. They head to the docks to steal a ship &one of rythos old friends comes by to try to leave with them (it’s his fathers ship they’re stealing) rythos says no they shove off& fendrell sneaks in anyway. They cross the sleeping sea underwater with a protective bubble ward before reaching the hybrid shore. Fendrell gets killed. Pris falls into a magic hole

Lorian shows pris his letters with conreth showing he planned to take her with him even before he knew she was the queen. They have a quick hot sneaky link in the woods & they continue traveling. Lorian has to go away on his quest given to him by his brother.
