Good on you for reading this. I have read all of Capote's fiction as well as so much written about him as well as his Swans. He is such an interesting fellow. But I haven't brought myself to read In Cold Blood yet. I find it difficult to read non-fiction about murder and serial killers. Eventually I will read it and look forward to seeing what you think about this book.

That's my first Capote. It's a book club read but true crime does interest me. I have read a few in the past but they usually deal with the facts. This is a bit more dramatized.

Your comment that the book is a bit more dramatized does not surprise me as it seems Capote entire adult life was dramatic.
