I wish that all the elements were further fleshed out—secondary character development, world-building/backstory, the tension between Ben and his father.

This has suddenly become the most fun and coolest thing ever.

I want to get into this more, but I can’t help but feel like *something* is off with the pacing, ie what the author chooses to spend page space on.

This is giving me Ilona Andrews vibes so far and I’m not mad about it!
